Project Management
Design Alaska established a dedicated Project Management Department in 2008 in order to oversee large, multi-discipline design projects. The department is managed by Jeff Putnam, PE, PMP and is staffed by Matt Scerbak, AIA and Marilyn Fye, LEED-AP. In the past two years the department has completed several large projects including the Ignatius Beans School Renovation in Mt. Village, the F22 Field Training Detachment project at Elmendorf AFB, and the Unit Operations and Training Support Center projects at Ft Wainwright. The department staff fills the role as design manager and oversees quality control, independent technical reviews, LEED planning and implementation, and construction administration.
